OVER 2000 PEOPLE ENJOY SPORTING FIELDS OPENING AT MULGOA RISE

Over 2000 Western Sydney residents, including new residents of Mulgoa Rise itself, joined in celebrations on Sunday to open the new Active Open Space precinct at Mulpha Norwest’s Mulgoa Rise. The precinct comprises 2 sporting fields, 2 playgrounds, picnic areas, cycle and walkways.

The fun and festivities included a free BBQ, entertainment, live music and rides. Radio 2WSFM broadcast live from the estate. Meeting first grade players from Penrith Panthers was a major drawcard for many young families. 2 lucky winners won a Gold Family Panthers membership for 2015 and a framed Panthers
jersey.

Local Member for Mulgoa, Mrs Tanya Davies MP, and Mayor of Penrith Council, Councillor Ross Fowler, officially opened the new Active Open Precinct. “We’re delighted to see such a strong show of community participation and support from new residents at the Festival,” said Mulpha Norwest General Manager, Tim Spencer.
